The Lang Brothers at BBR (Bare Bone Rides, Inc.) finished this build in September of 2012. It started off as a stock California Highway Patrol (CHiPs) Kawasaki KZ1000P that their friend/customer picked up via a police auction in SoCal. He wanted us to turn her in to a low keyed Cafe Racer. They decided to maintain some of the basic colors the CHP Bike came with to help preserve the bikes roots - the rest ... well, lets just say the Owner was overwhelmed at how cool she turned out! He flew out to Florida for the unveil and put around 600 miles on her that week - he loves her! The good people of California will definitely think of the CHP bikes when they see her but will also know that she no longer patrols the SoCal highways!!!
