Welcome to July 2015! "The Hals" is a very famous and popular stretch of road among riders from Eastern Austria. I ride it 3-4 times a year and I love how challenging it is. It really requires quite a bit of balls and skills to go fast there.

Back in the day I already had more than 1000km of experience in the 2015 bike season so I felt rather comfortable riding a bit quicker than usual. Although sometimes a rather sketchy riding line can still be seen ;) But that's what you get (at least in my case) with ~1000km of experience.

You do feel comfortable riding your bike but actually your level of riding isn't still quite where it's supposed to be. I guess not too many will notice this anyway ;) Enjoy!
